Description

Tranquillity is a unique property of approximately 12.25 acres (4.96h) positioned on the southern shore of Port Stephens.
With this come spectacular views, privacy, character, charm and peace!

The living accommodation is open and roomy, taking advantage of the position. We have water views from every room, 4 bedrooms, a large kitchen, 2 bathrooms and open plan living areas flowing onto a generous, screened veranda to enjoy the peace of the glorious natural setting.

The land stretches down to a peaceful waterfront - A sunny setting with blue water views

Acres of bush bursting with native flora and fauna surround the property.

The surrounding gardens attract wildlife, with many different native birds such as rosellas, lorikeets, kookaburras and butcher birds. Sea eagles frequently glide overhead, looking for food in the shallows of Port Stephens.

Pets are no permitted at Tranquillity due to the presence of wildlife and in particular a koala colony.

In the water, good fishing can be had close by, as the dolphins are well aware. This is a peaceful, natural setting with many native animals in and around the bush.

The nights are dark - no street lights, but there are thousands of stars in the Milky Way to keep you company.

Tranquillity is on the Tilligerry Peninsula, approximately two and a half hours north of Sydney. It is well served by flights into the region at the nearby Newcastle airport at Williamtown.

The local community has a great range of shops, a supermarket and other services in the towns of Tanilba Bay and Lemon Tree Passage.

The waterways of Port Stephens can be accessed directly from the front of the property. A double boat ramp, together with floating jetty at Lemon Tree Passage makes launching a large boat a breeze. From there it is a short cruise to Soldiers Point, Nelson Bay and other areas of Port Stephens, before returning to the quieter waters around the property.

Guest Reviews
This is an amazing property. A must stay. The place is much more beautiful than the photos. If you are interested in an isolated, private environment where there are beautiful, chatty birds; a beautiful wooden cabin surrounded by nature; and everything you need in the kitchen BBQ, and entertainment system – Tranquillity is the place to be. And if you are lucky, you will see dolphins swim by from the private beach. It was awesome! Most Favourite item was the fireplace. We hope to come back soon! Thanks Alastair!

Idyllic spot, hardwood mansion with soaring 3 floor high ceilings in living areas and great views of the bay. Stayed an extra day: couldnt drag ourselves from Tranquillity back to the Sydney traffic. Must bring surf skis next time, great area for paddling around and you can leave them on the front lawn by the water.
