My sister and I (late twenties) needed some time out of the city and this was perfect!!!
Very relaxed, yet clean and well equipped.
We loved all the animals, the welcoming galloping dog (Bob, of course), collecting eggs from chickens, who also wandered about wherever they pleased, we absolutely fell in love with the goats (hint->they LOVE LANTANA), not to mention the cows, the pig, the sentinel donkey, and more. If you have kids they'll love it, but if you don't, don't let that stop you. My sister and I just felt so relaxed - the pace of life when surrounded by animals just seems to make more sense - there's waking up time, eating time, and sleeping time, and only a couple of hours out of Sydney.

Everything about the stay was excellent, have recommended it to friends, family and will most definitely try to get back to kookaburra cottages again in the near future.

We could not have asked for a better weekend!! Scott & Louise went out of their way to ensure our stay was a memorable one. Our kids will never forget the wonderful time they had, we will be returning without a doubt!
