Bali at the Bay has been carefully designed to create the tranquil atmosphere of a Balinese retreat where you can relax and rejuvenate body, mind and soul. There are two separate, completely private apartments, built with dark, oiled timbers, sweeping verandahs with lotus-tipped verandah posts, airy bedrooms and double spa bathrooms with lush foliage and illuminated statues. It’s the small details that make this a laid-back and romantic place to stay, from trickling water features and fresh flowers dotted around the statues in your apartment to the incense and candles that set the mood for time alone.
The apartments’ verandahs look out over the native bush land and everything is in walking distance – the beach is two minutes away while Shoal Bay village with its quaint shops and impressive eateries is close by.
Every comfort is supplied with stylish lounge and dining suites and cosy nooks to sit and soak up the peace. Upstairs, the light-filled Nirwana apartment has filtered ocean views and floor to ceiling glass doors that open to let in gentle sea breezes. Downstairs the Shinto Garden apartment has polished concrete floors inlaid with Paua shell and guests love the hammock and barbecue on the shaded verandah.
Bali at the Bay has been architecturally designed as 2 seperate 2 bedroom fully self-contained luxury apartments. Forty four panels of carved teak doorways and windows surround the property spilling out onto the gardens bringing the outside in. Spa rooms have their own garden bays with statues lit up at night, candlelight and incense simply enhance the ROMANCE & MYSTERY.
Features include off-street parking, ducted air conditioning, a two-person spa bath with its own garden bay, television, stereo, DVD and CD player with a small select library, stone Bar-B-Que facilities and a modern kitchen containing all the necessary appliances including a dishwasher.
You can tuck yourselves away here for a pampering break – in-house massages, facials, manicures and other treats are supplied by Julia from Clinical Acupuncture & Beauty. And, your hosts, Sharne and Grant Edwards will gladly supply fresh seafood platters and other goodies to your door. If you do decide to venture out, enjoy a 1 ½ hour champagne sunset tour with Blue Water Sea Kayaking, Port Stephens Parasailing or hike up to Tomaree Lookout for an amazing view of the Islands of the coastline and back over Port Stephens.
